St Paul's Church is a committed group of believers following in the way of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. St Paul's is an Episcopal Church belonging to the Anglican Communion, the third largest communion of churches world-wide.
Episcopalians are often described as a people of two books, the holy Bible and the Book of Common Prayer. Anglican divines translated the Authorized Version (KJV) under King James I. Many phrases from this version of the Bible, know for its beautiful prose, have become incorporated into the English language. The other book Episcopalians use is called the Book of Common Prayer. The Prayer Book orders our worship and our common prayer together as the people of God. Within its pages, you will find the services of Holy Communion, Morning and Evening Prayer, and the sacramental rites of Baptism, Conformation, Marriage, Confession, Anointing, Ordination, and Burial. |
